Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend funds totaling One Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($180,000.00) received from individuals, organizations, and local and private businesses for the purpose of funding the Immigrant Integration and Empowerment  Initiative, the New American Library Corners Initiative, Immigration Advice Clinics, and the English for New Bostonian's Initiative.

Message and order authorizing the Police Commissioner to accept and expend a grant in the amount of  Fifty-Three Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty Dollars ($53,730.00) from the Office of Violence Against Women via the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security. This FY15 VAWA STOP Grant award is made for the purpose of continuing to fund a Civilian Domestic Violence (DV) Advocate who is responsible for serving victims in the areas of East Boston and Jamaica Plain.
